Sales Director - 4NB Holdings (4 Noses Brewing Company / Odd13 Brewing) - Broomfield, CO
4NB is looking for an experienced Sales Manager, with a knowledge and passion for Craft Beer. The Sales Director will be responsible for managing the sales and distribution of our brands, including 4 Noses, Odd13 Brewing, and Wild Provisions Beer Project. As part of our Leadership Team, this individual will play an integral part in steering the direction of our company as we continue to grow, improve, and strive for excellence.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, manage, train, and mentor Sales and Delivery teams
- Promote a diverse, welcoming, safe, and inclusive culture
- Play an integral role as part of the company leadership team, helping to steer our brands into the future and identifying opportunities for improved Quality, Culture, and Growth
- Constantly evaluate communication, systems, programs, processes, and procedures for improvements and training opportunities
- Communicate to all wholesalers about sales goals, new products, post offs, pricing and upcoming releases
- Build orders for multiple wholesalers
- Build incentive programs for wholesaler reps
- Research new markets and wholesalers for the 4NB brands
- Build, maintain, and communicate accurate forecasting
- Coordinate and pitch new products for regional chain accounts
- Coordinate A/R reconciliation with Bookkeeper
- Participate in weekly wholesale meetings to communicate expectations, aging products and forecasting
- Play an integral role in product and product portfolio development
- Be a champion of our brand and a catalyst for its growth
- Execute events and off-site promotions that enhance our brand
- Create, maintain and achieve challenging but manageable goals
- Motivate sales team through communication, honesty, integrity, and promote the importance of building meaningful and lasting relationships
- Communicate with Lab Manager on shelf-life dates and extensions
- Work with Marketing Director on sell sheets and product launches
- Communicate with president and owner about the team budget and how it will be utilized
- Drive our participation in festivals, including registration, festival gear, staffing, and product
Working conditions require:
- 40+ Hour weeks
- Remote work optional 1-2 days/week
- Ability to work at Denver location by late 2022
- Shared office setting adjacent to a manufacturing environment
- Offsite meetings with accounts
- Occasional travel to seminars/conferences
- Clean DMV driving record
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in sales
- Experience managing a team of people
- Strong knowledge of the Craft Beer and Alcohol Beverage industries
- Proven computer skills including expertise with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Ekos and Encompass is a plus
- Strong knowledge of inventory management
- Ability to self-direct workload, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to create and maintain useful reports
- Strong moral compass, with the ability to lead by example
- Professional demeanor and discretion
- High school diploma required
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Broad knowledge of business processes, contracts, finance, and management
