Our goal is to have a Taproom Manager lead our team of experienced beertenders within a positive, ambitious, and approachable manner. The Taproom Manager will bring new and vibrant ideas to inject education, training, and development of the beertenders and should be action oriented and organized to achieve these goals. Strong communication skills and teamwork building is the bedrock expectation to the continuous development of our staff.

Pay: $40,000 - $55,000 including salary and bonus opportunities

Taproom Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the taproom and create an unparalleled customer experience
- Manage and schedule food trucks
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for guests and beertenders
- Maintain Joyride’s high expectations of craft beer presentation and delivery
- Develop and maintain the workforce by interviewing and hiring employees, taking corrective actions when necessary, and leading training efforts to ensure staff productivity and efficiency.
- Schedule and execute customer requested private events
- Help plan and execute taproom events created by other departments
- Monitor taproom supplies, and reorder when needed
- Manage Joyride’s POS system and keep inventory of merchandise
- Weekly scheduling of front of the house staff
Taproom Manager Requirements
- 3+ Years of taproom/front of the house manager experience
- Intermediate knowledge of craft beer styles, and an eagerness to share that knowledge with teammates
- Awareness of financial components of business operations, multi-tasking issues, and prioritizing workload
- Demonstrated experience with decision making and quality control
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Strong analytical/decision-making skill
- Basic Google suite and MS Office knowledge and comprehension and an open-mindedness to learning the POS and software systems
