Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Operations Manager and production team on production, planning, and forecasting;
- Support our company values and Pillars of Success;
- Monitor daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals;
- Create weekly brewery staff and activities schedule. Work and communicate well across all levels of the brewery operation (management, packaging, suppliers);
- Maintain employee schedule and communicate changes;
- Work with National Sales Director, and Supply Chain Manager to package the necessary products to fulfill forecasted orders;
- Work with Facilities Dept. to schedule down time and improvement of canning line(s);
- Work with Purchasing Dept. to ensure consumable good are always in stock and of highest quality.
- Maintain and update inventory management software;
- Work with Supply Chain Manager for proper and timely procurement of raw materials and to manage finished inventory;
- Conduct annual performance reviews with any direct reports;
- Facilitate hiring and training of production staff;
- Work with department heads to train employees on Standard Operating Procedures;
- Oversee employment policy compliance: shift breaks and overtime tracking;
- Troubleshoot problems brought up by production staff;
- Identify and execute process-improvement opportunities;
- Work with team to ensure a clean and safe work environment;
- Set a company-wide example of leadership to foster a healthy team environment;
- Maintain all legally required and proprietary documentation related to brewing operations in a concise and organized fashion;
- Coordinate with Quality/R&D Manager and Operations Manager to complete technology and process development projects;
- Must be able and willing to work a variable shift schedule that is dependent upon the operational needs of the brewery which may require 12-hour days, weekends, and holidays;
- Follow all company policies & procedures, reflect organizational core values, and strive to always maintain a clean and safe working environment. Practice safe work methods and comply with wearing and using the proper PPE.
- Work in production spaces as necessary;
- Any other job as asked by management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fermentation Sciences or related field;
- 3 years in the craft beverage industry with supervisory/leadership experience;
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills;
- Integrity, creativity, persistence, honesty, and adaptability;
- Ability to execute against a budget;
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 45 lbs.; ability to work in a cold, noisy, wet, slippery environment and to climb ladders.
Compensation and Hours
- Full-time, salaried, exempt, M-F daytime schedule, some remote work possible
- $56-$68k/year, DOE

- Paid Sick and Safe Time, up to 40 hrs. (accrued) per year;
