Office Manager & Bookkeeper
Woods Beer & Wine Co. is a family of bars, brewpubs, and wineries around the Bay Area. We have a busy brewpub next to Dolores Park, a cozy satellite bar in Russian Hill, a production brewery and winery on Treasure Island, an outpost in the Outer Sunset, and a new bar in the Lower Haight. We make creative, small-batch beer and wine inspired by nature, place, and tradition.
Woods is seeking an Office Manager & Bookkeeper to work directly with the CEO, our bar managers, and our bookkeeping firm.
Duties & Responsibilities
This position will start as part-time (20 hours per week) with the possibility of growing into a full time position. Local candidates will be preferred, but as most of the functions can be performed remotely from home, we will consider candidates outside of the SF Bay Area. The hours are flexible - we are open to 2-3 days per week, but would prefer the candidate to work half days 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).
Compensation
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Pay will likely start as hourly. Salary will be available once the position transitions to full-time. CA residents will be eligible for Kaiser healthcare.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Issuing Invoices to Customers in Quickbooks
- Managing Accounts Receivable and Collections
- Assisting in Purchasing Raw Materials
- Managing Accounts Payable and Uploading Bills to Bill Management Software
- Auditing Payroll Entry by Bar Managers and Preparing for Submission by Bookkeeping Firm
- Managing Rent Payments
- Managing Online Store
- Paying Licenses and Fees
- Managing Enrollment and Terminations for Kaiser Healthcare Coverage
- Performing Human Resources Functions
- Maintaining Square Point of Sale Including Adding and Removing Products
- Managing Ekos Brewery & Winery Production Software
- Opening and Scanning All Mail
- Responding to general email inquiries
- 2+ years of experience preferred in bookkeeping or human resources, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, human resources
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Past experience with QBO, Ekos (or other brewery softwares), ADP preferred
