    Brew Pub Manager – South Park Brewing (Fairplay, CO)

    South Park Brewing is an award winning brew pub located in the Rocky Mountains 25 miles south of Breckenridge. We are currently looking to add a motivated Floor Manager to our team as we rapidly expand operations.

    Job Overview:
    The Manager is responsible for managing shifts at the restaurant ensuring smooth operation and continuing excellent customer service while serving the best products possible. This role will be responsible for managing our taproom and kitchen staff along with working closely with General Manager in operations and marketing. The Manager will report directly to the General Manager. This position is a 40+ hour a week salaried position. For consideration of this position please submit a cover letter and resume.     Job Responsibilities:
    • Managing day to day operation of the restaurant in a 100 seat restaurant
    • Working with staff to ensure outstanding guest experience with great service and the highest quality drinks and food.
    • Managing and assisting staff on the floor during hours of operation.
    • Conducts interviews and hiring and is responsible for maintaining proper staffing levels
    • Develop, maintain and implement SOPs to ensure quality workplace
    • Ability to follow and maintain all local, state, and federal regulations in regards to the restaurant and brewery.
    • Oversee pars for supply and merchandise inventories
    • Working with Kitchen Supervisor to establish and maintain quality controls and set goals for food cost.
    • Overseeing and executing daily, weekly, and monthly administrative tasks.
    • Coordinate and execute events in restaurant
    • Manage day to day scheduling of staff
    • Creating a positive work environment for all staff.
    • Conducting daily and weekly staff meeting such as pre-shifts to communicate goals of brewery and encourage inclusion of all staff.
    • Enforce company policies, seeing and swiftly addressing coaching opportunities and taking disciplinary action when needed with accurate and objective documentation.

    Work Environment:
    • Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time including bending, walking and standing
    • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Brewery can be loud and could be exposed to hazards such as slips, trips, and falls
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights and weekends

    Required Education and Experience:
    • 2+ years of brewery/restaurant management (or similar industry experience)
    • Knowledge and experience in brewery/restaurant POS systems
    • Ability to effectively inspire and manage people
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principals

    Compensation and Benefits:
    • $60,000 per year (adjusted based on experience, education and performance)
