Summary
The Packaging Manager is responsible for managing the packaging team, and ordering packaging raw materials, as well as working with Sales and Operations to schedule and ensure packaging allocations are met. The Packaging Manager is responsible for building and managing a communication system, while troubleshooting issues as they come up, and ensuring a smooth workflow. This position requires critical thinking, problem solving, and ability to communicate across departments. This position works closely with cellar, brewing, and QA/QC teams to ensure product and process runs smoothly. Reports to the VP of Brewing.

Essential Duties
- Manage the packaging team
- Build a communication system to ensure there is enough staffing, and raw materials to complete weekly packaging tasks
- In charge of all packaged beer inputs in Ekos
- Manage time off requests and provide regular feedback to team members
- Ensure adequate training of all team members
- Ensure equipment is kept in the best condition, and work with maintenance as issues arise
- Continually audit process flow to ensure quality product at all times
- Order raw materials
- Using projections, order packaging materials to hit demand
- Work with suppliers, and VP of Brewing, to find where to purchase new materials, and ensure there is enough available at the right price.
- Work with warehouse to ensure raw materials are available and monthly inventory audits are completed
- Work with sales and brewing to meet packaging demands
- Develop the packaging splits to meet distributor demands
- Communicate supply chain issues, production adjustments and deviations from plans
- Communicate with warehouse, sales, and brewing to ensure production targets are met
