Requirements:
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and move kegs
- Advanced beer knowledge
- Prior tap room experience
- Management experience preferred
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Desire to work in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to interact professionally with staff and the public
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
Job duties:
Tap Room
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Interview, hire and train tap room staff and shift leaders
- Oversee and manage all tap room staff
- Cash management - payroll and cash tips; bank deposits
- Address any disciplinary issues and terminate employees as needed
- Provide performance reviews for bartenders and shift leaders
- Scheduling of tap room shifts - bartending, cleaning, events, etc.
- Plan draft menus and maintain updated print/chalkboard menus
- Maintain iPads and item library in POS system
- Manage keg inventory and coordinate as needed with production and sales
- Order wine, cider and NA beverages
- Conduct monthly (minimum) tap room meetings to provide updates and training to employees
- Communicate with staff weekly via Sling regarding upcoming releases
- Maintain a clean and tidy tap room and event space
- Update website draft menu
Membership
- Notifying members of upcoming releases & pre-sales
- Collating member lists for allocated bottles
- Communication with members on member FB page and via email
- Confirming inventory for storage members, during a pick up window, and as necessary
- Communication with the TR staff on specialty orders, pick ups, or large groups/proxy pickups
- Ability to check in members and assist on release days
- Maintain Society page on website
Admin
- Checking voicemail & mail
- Delegate Weekly Ekos & Square inventory
- Send weekly email to newsletter subscribers
- Submit tap room events to Kendall Whittier calendar
- Book food trucks if needed for additional support during special events
