  • California Sales Manager - Crazy Mountain Brewery

    Crazy Mountain Brewery is a quickly growing craft brewery based in the Vail Valley of Colorado and is currently distributed in 15 states. We are hiring the position of California Sales Manager. This position will manage and direct sales for our distributors. Ideal candidate will reside in LA / Orange County or farther south.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    - Work with distributor to implement and achieve sales goals in the state of California.
    - Focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores).
    - Identify key accounts that are not being penetrated with Crazy Mountain products and develop a plan to establish business with such accounts.
    - Work to gain entry into National chains, both on and off premise
    - Conduct staff educations, beer tastings and beer dinners which will require nights and weekends
    - Develop and maintain relationships with both on and off premise accounts.
    - Work with local distributors to increase brand awareness and consumption.
    - Track and monitor progress in all identified accounts.
    - Participate in festivals that we may sign up for - weekends


    KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
    - Bachelor's degree preferred.
    - Three to Five years adult beverage experience, preferably with at least one year at a wine or beer distributor.
    - Ability to work with various levels of buyers - from the management and sales team of the distributors to those at the retail level.
    - Self-motivation and ability to work with limited amount of direction; ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to speak in front of large groups, conduct staff trainings and evening functions.
    - Strong work ethic; demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities.
    - Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results.
    - Strong judgment and professional maturity.
    - Excellent problem solving skills; mathematical proficiency.
    - Willingness to travel overnight and a good driving record.
    - Ability to use basic computer functions including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
    - Willingness to have fun
