    Become part of the St. Florian’s Brewery crew in Windsor, Sonoma County, California. Get in on the ground-floor of our rapidly expanding brewery. We seek candidates passionate about craft beer with “can do” attitudes. This will be a salaried position, with bonus potential based upon MBO attainment. MUST be willing to work evening & weekend hours. Ideal candidate resides outside region that does not immediately border Sonoma County (i.e. Sacramento, SF, East Bay, South Bay).     NOW HIRING: BRAND REPRESENTATIVE (Northern California Sales)

    Include, but not limited to:
    • Sales, marketing of our brand & support to our current customer base
    • Develop & maintain list of key & target accounts
    • Growth & development of assigned territory (currently Northern California, subject to change at any time, due to company growth) by determining focus areas, pre-scheduling tastings & utilizing stop-by techniques
    • Sell beer in accordance with business plan
    • Educate all distributor personnel, accounts & other contacts about St. Florian’s Brewery products & our story by regularly presenting at sales meetings, riding with distributor personnel & communicating with staff
    • Coordinate, support, attend & execute promotional events & festivals deemed effective & viable by management, such as samplings, beer pairing dinners, regional beer fests, etc.
    • Maintain accurate records, including management of St. Florian’s Brewery sales database
    • Maintain self-education about St. Florian’s Brewery products & the craft beer industry, in general
    • Build strong partnerships with distributor personnel to establish, maintain, nurture & grow relationships with all accounts
    • Work with distributor personnel to verify inventory levels & rotate stock at distributor warehouse & at all accounts
    • Thoroughly disperse communications about limited, seasonal &/or new releases, ensuring proper education about product; including allocation & presale of limited releases
    • Work closely with CEO to develop budgets, sales forecasts, distribution projections & marketing plans
    • Meet or exceed MBOs by providing input to CEO prior to beginning of each quarter to ensure alignment & accountability of mutual goals & day-to-day performance expectations
    • Ability to travel as required, on average up to 50%, outside of local territory
    • Perform other duties, as determined by manager

    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Bachelors degree in business, or a related discipline; or, an equivalent combination of education & experience in a beverage distributor sales environment
    • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in beverage distribution sales, with proven abilities to build a territory
    • Valid California Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record (proof required)

    • Proven sales results
    • Knowledge of & passion for the craft beer industry & its market
    • Thorough comprehension of State of California ABC law
    • Must have willingness to travel & work a flexible schedule (including evening &/or weekend hours: this is not a Monday-through-Friday, 8am-to-5pm position)
    • MS Office proficiency, including Excel
    • Salesforce aptitude preferred
    • Strong organization, problem-solving & analytical skills to manage priorities & workflow, as well as make sound, timely judgments
    • Enthusiastic demeanor & willingness to “go with the flow” in a constantly changing work environment
    • Quick learner who exhibits high levels of energy & self-motivation, while exhibiting a social, magnetic personality
    • Work to high quality standards paying attention to detail, with & without direct supervision, & be driven by success
    • Ability to multi-task when environment is fast-paced & take initiative when not given directives
    • Clear verbal & written communication skills, including presentation skills
    • Outgoing personality with a willingness to be a strong part of our team & to get along with others

    • Physically able to lift, reach, bend, stoop, use hands to finger, handle, or feel & lift heavy equipment, as follows, but not limited to: 55 lbs to shoulder height repeatedly & lifting 165 lb kegs
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of small hand tools & computer equipment
    • Walk, kneel, bend, stand & climb stairs
    • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
