Marketing & Events Coordinator / Brand Ambassador

Our Marketing & Events Coordinator / Brand Ambassador will be primarily responsible for managing and executing consumer-facing communications including events, social media and consumer outreach.
Responsibilities include:
Publicly representing the Almanac brand in a positive, engaging, passionate, and knowledgeable manner
Assisting management with the development of an annual marketing plan and quarterly marketing goals
Acting as our on-site brand ambassador at events and tastings
Embracing the role of educator by leading demos, staff trainings and tastings
Managing participation and logistics in national and local events
Managing all social media efforts including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
Managing all inbound traffic from public-facing email addresses and phone calls including consumer praise, questions and complaints
Working with management and sales team to develop sales support materials, promotional collateral and event marketing materials
Researching, developing and executing potential marketing/event partnerships and opportunities
Managing charitable donations and community outreach
Managing all aspects of our e-commerce webstore including on-line inventory, fulfillment/shipping, physical inventory, new product ordering and web-based store management
Responding to media requests and shipping out media samples/press releases for new beers
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience in marketing coordinator role and/or 1 year experience in public-facing brand ambassador role
Demonstrable fluency/expertise in social media platforms and community engagement, preferably with prior brand related experience
Craft beer industry experience a plus
