    About the Job
    In this job you will be responsible for the successful sale and placement of all Ska craft beer in both on and off premise locations in the Chicagoland area. A strong emphasis will also be placed on brand building and customer relations, and you will work closely with our distributors to achieve overall territory goals. You will also represent Ska Brewing at general promotions and festivals throughout the year.

    Responsibilities

    • Understand and embrace the Ska culture and deliver our mission to the wholesale and retail customer
    • Maintain direct and constant communication with National Sales Manager
    • Introduce retailers to Ska beers, including on and off-premise locations
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with distributors and retailers
    • Work directly with wholesaler sales force/Brand Manager to manage and increase sales in the assigned territory
    • Monitor and manage wholesaler inventory of both Ska beer and P.O.S. materials
    • Design and drive special events and promotions
    • Analyze and develop sales opportunity from VIP software
    • Work with fellow team members to increase sales while adhering to sales budgets
    • Handle customer inquiries regarding product information and other questions
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports and discuss the data with the Sales Manager on a weekly/monthly basis


    Our Ideal Candidate
    • Must be 21 years of age or older
    • Minimum two years of relevant experience along with solid working knowledge of the beer and brewing industry
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with limited direction or supervision
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and use of own car each day
    • Willingness to work flexible and extended hours (including evenings and weekends)
    • Self-motivated and energetic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and independent working attitude
