The Good Wolf Brewing Company is Truckee’s newest brewery. Started in late 2019, we are committed to providing the highest quality beers to Northern California craft beer consumers. The Good Wolf proudly offers our customers a variety of beers, including our signature hop-forward and innovative forest beers.
The Good Wolf is looking to hire a full-time Sales Manager to establish a new sales program. This role will include managing off-site commercial sales of The Good Wolf beer and growing The Good Wolf’s brand awareness throughout Northern California. Key elements include the establishment of new commercial accounts, maintaining established commercial account relationships, and marketing of The Good Wolf to potential commercial accounts. Other duties include driving and managing sales objectives, development and execution of sales and merchandising standards, identification and planning with brewery ownership and management on sales, and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain commercial customer relations and promote The Good Wolf’s story
- Successful and strategic sale and placement of The Good Wolf brand
- Plan, execute, and support special events as required
- Meet and work to exceed sales goals
- Participate in overall sales strategy, goal planning, and seeking out new opportunities to increase sales
- Proactively seek out new commercial sales opportunities throughout the Tahoe region and Northern California
- Analyze consumer trends for insights and maintain self-education on the craft beer industry
- Precise reporting on follow up market visit results, communication to management on status of market conditions, and status of future business objectives
- Organize an efficient schedule, including a daily route, and a monthly, quarterly and yearly plan
- Enter lead and customer data, sales, and invoicing into Ekos
- Manage time and priorities in an effective, responsible and efficient manner
- Passionate about craft beer

- Professionally and personally fulfilled by designing and implementing a sales program from the ground up
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales. Beverage or craft beer experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record for developing solid relationships and meeting/exceeding sales goals
- Self-motivated with excellent decision making, planning, and problem solving skills
- Experience working for a start-up is a bonus. Interest is a must
- Experience with marketing, promotion efforts, and networking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experienced building a mission driven brand, ideally with beverage brands
- Experience with various social media platforms to include Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays; to travel as needed
- Ability to maintain a professional business approach in environments where craft beer is being poured and consumed
- Be familiar with draft systems and have the ability to troubleshoot when necessary
- Currently residing in the Reno, Tahoe or Sacramento regions
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, events and holidays
- At least 21 years of age
