    Position: Marketing Director
    Reports to: Chief Executive Officer & Chief Operating Officer

    Job Summary:
    Jackalope Brewing Company is hiring Marketing Director for its brewery in Nashville, Tennessee. The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the organization in order to attract potential customers, retain existing ones, and ultimately increase sales for Jackalope Brewing Company. The Marketing Director plays an essential role as a strong voice of Jackalope’s brand and team. Beyond the specific roles and responsibilities, a strong candidate for this role must be familiar with Jackalope’s brand and values, as well as demonstrate a desire to deeply engage with our team, customer base and the industry to most effectively represent us in the community.

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement data-driven marketing strategies for the brewery including but not limited to the following topics: distribution, taproom, new releases, events, merchandise, Jackalope’s story & people, community involvement, etc.
    • Design and implement social media marketing content and campaigns aligned with company priorities
    • New product development
    • Create, order, market and keep inventory of Jackalope merchandise
    • Oversee Jackalope’s community outreach and charitable donations
    • Work with the sales team as well as distributor partners to support Jackalope sales in the market
    • Work with web designer to continuously keep the website up to date, as well as to improve the website’s capabilities and ease of use
    • Conduct statistical and data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing’s impact on sales
    • Develop and maintain a strong familiarity with ongoing and developing market trends in media, technology and consumer behavior
    • Identify weaknesses in existing marketing campaigns and develop pragmatic solutions within budgetary constraints to assess current projections
    • Lead key team members to develop and oversee implementation of marketing campaigns and materials
    • Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding goals
    • Cultivate and deepen value-added relationships with customers and business partners

    • Accepts responsibility for projects and meeting deadlines, assists in establishing project schedules and setting priorities. Able to effectively handle pressure situations.

    • Solid computer skills and awareness of web-based marketing and social media
    • Helps to ensure company compliance with federal and state laws and statutes, as well as company policies and plan administration.

    • Ability to work unpredictable hours, including some evenings and weekends

    Education/Experience:
    High School Diploma
    Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field preferred
    5+ years in marketing and promotion
    Experience working in Wordpress, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
    Experience in the beer/hospitality industry preferred
