8one8 Brewing is a family owned and operated brewery located in Canoga Park, CA. Founded in 2014 We began as homebrewers and converted the hobby into a business on a 3bbl brewhouse. With limited distribution and adding a tasting room in 2018 we’ve grown into a 10bbl brewhouse with 200 BBL’s of tank space. 2019 was our first full year of putting dedicated attention to the wholesale market thru self distribution. Most of our accounts are draft and we’re now looking to add accounts for our newly packaged can beer.

8one8 Brewing is searching for a sales representative candidate to join our team. The sales representative will cover the Greater San Fernando Valley area. We’re a self distributing brewery so the position involves selling, delivery and maintenance of accounts.

Requirements or preferred experience
  • Sales experience in the craft beer segment
  • Existing relationships and good industry reputation
  • Ability to sell to different retail businesses from small volume liquor stores/bottle shops to on tap bars/restaurants as well large volume accounts.
  • Provide industry feedback and trends to owners
  • Currently residing locally in the area
  • Lift min 75lbs regularly all day
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Positive approachable personality that fits well with our company culture.

General Responsibilities:

• Having a firm understanding and be able to explain in detail, the company’s history, community involvement, beer portfolio and the future of 8one8

• Communicate information to accounts about upcoming beer launches, seasonal releases, Point-of-Sale, etc.

• Manage time and priorities in an effective, responsible and efficient manner.

• Be familiar with draft systems and have the ability to troubleshoot when necessary.

• Current in understanding California ABC liquor license codes and regulations.

• Utilize all sales-related software, excel etc

• Gain a working knowledge of each partner within our organization, including an open relationship with all members of the 8one8 team.

• Provide accounts with sales literature, technical assistance and sales training as needed.

• Assist accounts in promoting sales of the products, and helping build consumer brand knowledge of 8one8 products.

• Establish an action plan prior to account visits

• Regularly planned account visits with sales documents and reports submitted to owners.

• Manage sales inventory on a monthly basis.

• Establish regular contact and build relationships with key decision makers at Key Accounts, both on and off premise, in order to gain sales and distribution.

• Work closely with owners to reach company goals.
