    Sales Representative Job Summary

    Under the direction of the Sales and Marketing Director, the Sales Representative will be responsible for introducing Crossroads brews to new and existing accounts (both on and off premise), along with developing pre-existing relationships throughout the Hudson Valley.
    • Sales will be focused on (but not limited to) the Hudson Valley, from Albany to Westchester County

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Create and maintain weekly meeting schedules with accounts.

    • Set up engaging beer releases and events with accounts.

    • Work with wholesale sales representatives to deliver exceptional service to accounts.

    • Negotiate beer placements.

    • Research and target new accounts.

    • Give presentations on Crossroads brands to distributors and wholesalers when needed

    • Attend beer festivals, pint nights, and other beer events to hand sell and promote Crossroads.

    • Monitor and understand market conditions (pricing, style trends, etc.), providing feedback to management.

    • Place point of sale materials such as shelf talkers, posters, tackers etc.

    A successful candidate will demonstrate the following competencies.

    • Ability to communicate with people with various cultural, economic, etc. backgrounds in a customer service setting.

    • Strong understanding of sales and marketing techniques.

    • Knowledge of craft beer and the industry.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 2 or more years of craft beer sales experience.

    • Bachelor’s degree in a sales and marketing field

    • 2 or more years of sales experience in a field related to alcoholic beverages.

    • Willingness to be flexible and grow with the company
    • Must have a valid driver’s License and dependable transportation.

    Work Schedule

    • Full time

    • Must have flexibility for nights and weekends.


    • We offer a competitive base salary with a highly motivational incentive program as well as paid vacation, and health insurance. Pay is depending upon experience.
