NOW HIRING - Sales Manager - Transmitter Brewing - Brooklyn, NY
Job Summary
Sales Manager to promote the Transmitter Brewing’s brand and Build upon existing relationships and establish new accounts with restaurants, bars, and retailers across NYC. Established in 2014 Transmitter recently relocated to The Brooklyn Navy Yard to expand capacity. This position reports directly to the Co-founders.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop key accounts
• Maintain current relationships in the NYC area
• Build upon existing relationships and establish new accounts with restaurants, bars, and retailers across NYC
• Educate, present, and sample with partners & accounts on our vison as well as new & existing product lines
• Visit accounts daily
• Develop relationships with all potential accounts
• Analyze sales numbers to direct and guide personal activities and efforts.
• Regular participation in brewery endorsed events, promotions, etc.
• Propose strategies for expanding accounts
Job Requirements
• Must, must, must love beer - tasting beer, talking about beer and sharing beer.
• Minimum2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of building and executing sales strategies
• Strong Planning and Organizational Skills
• Self-Motivated
• Ability to manage time and priorities in an effective and efficient manner
• Natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Strong computer skills • Written and oral communication skills
• Ability to track and monitor progress in all identified accounts
• No criminal history
• Clean driver’s license
• Able to regularly work during evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift 55 pounds
Additional Qualifications for Consideration
• 3-5 years of experience in alcohol sales with established relationships across NYC
• Comfortable analyzing data to provide insight and increase sales
• Bachelor’s degree
• Cicerone Certified Beer Server or equivalent required by start date
Compensation
Compensation will be based off of experience.
