    The Field Sales Representative has a passion for craft beer and all things craft beverage. This person is an enthusiastic member of Cold Craft who is responsible for making the first and lasting impression on our retail and beverage customers. The Field Sales Representative is a true partner to our customers in servicing their beverage needs.

    Essential Job Functions:
    • Build strong relationship with retailers and maintain trusting partnership.
    • Develop new business and grow existing accounts in established territories through the creation of sales plans.
    • Travel to customer locations to promote Cold Craft portfolio and provide educational sessions and tastings with retail customers.
    • Communicate daily with operations and/or delivery teams regarding activity, including customer needs, orders, trends, or other pertinent information.
    • Ensure that beverage partner and brewery quality standards are understood and followed by retail customers.
    • Represent Cold Craft and support beverage partners at festivals and promotional events.
    • Use data systems to track and monitor activity in all identified accounts as assigned.
    • Utilize data to analyze and gain insights on customer activity in order to increase business growth.
    • Ensure all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale and promotion of Cold Craft products are maintained.
    • Complete and submit weekly work and travel logs, including reimbursable receipts.
    • Submit reports and attend meetings to discuss performance on established territories.
    • Follow all vehicle operations, safety, and accident protocol.
    • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report all vehicle maintenance issues.

    Skills and Experience:
    • Proven knowledge of craft beer and desire for continuous learning
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for maintaining effective relationships with all partners at all position levels
    • Excellent verbal, written, communication and confident ability to present
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
    • Ability to safely operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
    • Ability and desire to abide by all company safety and hygiene practices
    • Ability to contribute to the team with ideas and creative thinking

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • 1-2 years of experience in craft beer and/or other beverages
    • Minimum High school diploma or GED
    • Minimum 21 years of age
    • Must have safe driving record
    • Valid North Carolina driver’s license
    • Cicerone Level 1 - Certified Beer Server Certification

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • TIPS Certification – Training for Intervention Procedures (required within 14 days of hire).
    • Proven customer service and beverage retail experience

    Schedule / Pay:
    • Weekdays and some weekends
    • At least 40 hours per week.
    • Hours vary - flexibility is necessary to align with customer business operations
    • Salary = Base + Commission
