Stout Tanks and Kettles is the leading supplier of brewing equipment to craft beverage producers. Our Customer Service Reps are the first and most important contact with our customers. They help people find the right equipment and the parts and accessories they need.
Brewing experience is not necessary, but helpful. You can learn about brewing on the job, but you need to have the desire to help people, and do a good job.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Answer all incoming phone calls, and get people the information they need.
• Respond to incoming e-mails and requests for parts, service, or warranty help.
• Check inventory for price and availability, or lead time to build custom products.
• Prepare quotes and sales orders for the sale of parts and equipment.
• Prepare shipping quotes to find the best way to deliver product to the customer.
• Work with the operations, warehouse, and shipping teams to process orders and get shipments out the door.
• Provide follow-up support and service, answer questions, offer advice, and provide warranty service.
Qualifications.
• People oriented. Service driven. Enjoy working with people, solving problems, and making people happy.
• Fast. Thrive in a fast-paced environment. Be proud of responding quickly and thoroughly, and able to handle a high volume of work.
• Flexible. Be able to multi-task, juggle lots of responsibilities.
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Brewing experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, e-mail, telephone, video calls, chat, text, social media.
• Strong computer skills, ERP & database experience. Fast and accurate typing.
Compensation and Benefits
• $16 to $21 per hour.
• Generous PTO policy.
