    Threadbare Cider and Mead, located in Pittsburgh, PA, is hell bent on creating a vital, educated community around the highest quality, most inventive, bursting-with-terroir fermented products in the world. We make ciders from the best local ingredients, treat one another as family and customers as friends. We invest in our communities to support the agricultural, social and economic systems of which we are a part. We are excited to accept candidates for the role of Sales Representative for Wigle Whiskey and Threadbare Cider.

    This is a full-time role. The Sales Representative will work closely with the sales team to track and achieve quarterly-sales targets and build strong relationships with bars and restaurants (on premise) and manage the tasting calendar for the PLCB Store Education Team.

    The ideal candidate will possess the ability to quickly orient to assignments, adaptable to change, comfortable working on multiple projects in different stages of program cycle, respond promptly to account needs, and go beyond the obvious. Applicants must include a cover letter.

    Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Build portfolio of on premise accounts in Pittsburgh.
    • Achieve monthly sales and distribution targets.
    • Identify target accounts and build relationships with bar managers, bartenders, and waitstaff.
    • Successfully plan and execute monthly events with on premise partners.
    • Act as spokesperson/educator at consumer events.
    • Monitor, manage and assist with weekly on premise delivery schedule.
    • Build and maintain account database. Maintain Tracking system
    • Oversee performance, schedule and support PLCB Tasting Team staff.
    • Conduct quarterly sales and education meetings for PLCB Tasting Team staff along with PLCB Coordinator
    • Build and maintain relationships with Premium Store Retail Managers.
    • Gain an excellent understanding of each brand within the Wigle Whiskey portfolio and be able to effectively communicate benefits of each product to consumers and accounts

    Requirements:
    • Willingness to travel at least 50% of time. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must be 21+ years old.
    • Desire to build a career in sales.
    • Professional selling skills are a must.
    • Able to build strong relationships and maintain superb customer service.
    • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
    • Able to efficiently manage time and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Willingness to work weekends and night events.
    • Must be driven, results oriented and a self-starter.
    • The ability to identify problems, analyze relevant data, think critically, generate alternatives, and select appropriate solutions.
    • Demonstrates good business sense, including the ability to correctly interpret price structures, and make effective and efficient use of financial resources to achieve optimal results.
    • Sales or beverage industry experience a plus but not required.
    • Bachelor or Associate's Degree a plus, but not required.
