    Job Summary:
    The Regional Events Mgr. is responsible for all tasks related to event and sponsorship participation in their assigned territory. The position will require event execution, event legalities, logistics and pre and post event analysis for all events within their assigned area. This position will forecast, manage and report budgets to their managers. They are in charge of hiring, training, managing, and scheduling Beer Revos within their respective region. They are also in charge of all event equipment within their region. The Regional Events Mgr. will report bi-weekly via a meeting with their managers. This position is expected to spend 50-60% of their time in the market at events during the busy season.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
    • Maintain a working knowledge of the FW brand and product as well as FW’s culture and full product line up
    • Coordinate, schedule and run all events in assigned territory for FW brand; approve participation based on marketing parameters and necessary legal documents, complete necessary paperwork, insurance requests, beer orders, special POS needs, confirm FW representation at event, etc.
    • Ensure that all event participation is properly executed by way of logistical set up, staffing, beer choices and equipment
    • Create and manage annual budget for outlined events (due Aug 1 of the prior year)
    • Report to managers monthly on budget forecast vs. actual spend
    • Hire, manage, train & schedule part-time beer revolutionaries in respective region; track staff costs as part of budget and enter and approve BR’s worked hours into time keeping system
    • Create and manage regional events calendar and communication with respective parties
    • Meet monthly with entire events team to communicate recap on past month’s events and discuss upcoming events
    • Utilize event analysis system to determine proper brand fit for FWBC
    • Complete paperwork, monthly reporting, event analysis and communication associated with events in region
    • Manage event follow-up with regions’ Beer Revos or Sales Staff including detailed recap on major events
    • Utilize Dropbox to maintain up-to-date records of all event related documents including sign-up sheets, budgets, contracts/sponsorship agreements, invoices and recaps
    • Responsible for proper maintenance, cleaning and care of event equipment including drafting trailers, jockey boxes and all related parts, tents & backdrops, tables & clothes, POS, Retail and vehicles.
    • Must keep up with equipment log and do a monthly inventory of all event equipment in your territory; with a major focus on all drafting equipment
    • Explore promotional opportunities in line with brand objectives such as events, sponsorships and promotions
    • Assist with Special Events in area of coordination; collaborative events, dinners, fests, etc.
    • Pour tastings at events and utilize drafting equipment properly and troubleshoot in the field as needed
    • Utilize Outlook to manage schedule; schedule and execute B.R trainings

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing , brands or a related field and at least two years of prior experience in completing the above (or similar) job duties; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Above average knowledge of draft operations with both onsite and offsite event equipment
    • Must be at least 21 and first level Cicerone Certified Beer Server required (or other beer certification)
    • Must be enthusiastic, engaging, beer savvy and well organized
    • Must be able and willing to work most weekends and holidays during event season
    • At least 2-3 years experience in managing staff
    • Ability to promote Firestone Walker brand professionally, be personable, knowledgeable and an integral part of the Firestone Walker Event Department
    • Must have a clean driving record, your own reliable transportation and a valid driver license
    • Prior experience driving a trailer attachment and moving trailers
    • Must already live in the Bay Area

    Physical Demands:
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to drive a car.
