Who we want on our team:
As a Sales Representative for Devil’s Logic Brewing, you will be on the front line, representing our award-winning lineup of beers throughout Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. You will be responsible for servicing existing retail relationships and establishing new retail partners in order to expand product distribution channels. You will also develop, coordinate, and represent the company at promotional and festivals events.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Growing Devil’s Logic Brewing by meeting sales goals and key objectives within Charlotte and Mecklenburg County.
- Seeking out and develops relationships with new on-premises and off-premises accounts
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with established accounts
- Assists in the development of sales strategies and implementation
- Plans and executes marketing events with retailers
- Participate in public events as a representative of Devil’s Logic Brewing
- Communicate with the Production Manager, and delivery / merchandising team to deliver a seamless brand and experience to our clients
- Maintain Devil’s Logic’s quality standards in the retail environment
- Maintain all record keeping and tracking documents in an organized and timely manor
- Identify needs for improvement and implement effective solutions based on market research
- Review our place within the market to determine any competitive disadvantages we may have and bring forward any profitable opportunities to the company
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of two-years’ experience in Sales or Promotions in beverage alcohol industry experience
- College degree preferred
- Experience managing budgetary responsibility and executing against timelines
- Profound knowledge of craft beer and brewing process; Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adjust the message to the audience
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and move 35 lb. cases of beer, and move and place 165 lb. kegs as needed
- Must have flexible schedule and be willing to work some nights, weekends, and extended workdays for promotions, events and festivals
- Must have a valid NC driver's license, maintain a clean driving record, have a reliable automobile in line with company policy, and pass a NCDOR mandated background check
- Must have auto insurance in line with DLB policy and expected to maintain that insurance on an on-going basis
- Must pass a mandatory pre-hire drug test and submit to random drug tests.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to drive a company vehicle meeting all hearing and vision requirements while also being able to climb in and out of the vehicle throughout the day to make deliveries. Frequently reach overhead with extended reaching to move upward and/or lower product ranging in weight from 25 to 165 pounds from truck to ground level to customer point of delivery. Stairs may be involved at customer locations. Vehicles do not have automated lift gates. Many tasks performed will require the employee to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, bend, twist and crouch in environments with limited space. Employees will be active for 8-10 hours a day and must have the ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment dealing with temperature extremes and humidity.
Additional Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (2 forms of identification required at time of hire). Must be at least 21 years old at time of application. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Employment is subject to passing a drug and background check.
Compensation:
Salary and commission based on work experience and abilities.
