Love WNC and Craft Beer? Booneshine Brewing Co. is excited to announce that we are adding a new member to our Distribution Team! We are looking for a highly motivated, self-managing, and outgoing individual that enjoys providing quality service and building and maintaining authentic relationships. Our brewery works on a Self-Distribution model, so every facet of distribution from communication to delivery to festivals and events is handled by us in house. We are looking for someone who is excited to help a small business grow with dedication and attention to detail as we write the history of beer in the High Country.

This position is fast paced, people oriented, and physically demanding at times. May require some evenings and weekend work on occasion for events. Must be physically able to lift 165 pounds, have a clean driving record, and be able to deliver product to the High Country, Triangle, Hickory, and surrounding areas. Experience in the beer industry is preferred but not required.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Build and maintain knowledge of Booneshine’s beer portfolio and availability

• Weekly check-ins with accounts (text, email, phone, in-person)

• Consult with accounts on beer selection and strategy

• Take orders and schedule deliveries

• Inventory management and record keeping

• Administrative Duties: Sales Sheets, Record Keeping, Account Information

• Attend weekly staff meetings with sales team

• Meet and maintain monthly sales goals and projections

• Must be able to lift 165 lb + beer kegs and other materials

Secondary Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Plan, communicate, and provide staffing for outside events (e.g. High Country Beerfest, Beech Mtn Winterfest/Summerfest, etc.)

• Ensure tap line cleaning service is setup for new accounts

• Develop and implement sales strategies for acquiring new accounts

• Regular delivery vehicle maintenance

Review Period:

• Quarterly performance evaluation and reviews will be held with the Director of Production and Sales

Job Type: Full-time with PTO

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
