Sales Representative – Charlotte, NC MSA
As a Brewery Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing sales and increasing our overall brand presence and reputation through building and maintaining client relationships in Charlotte, NC MSA and elsewhere in NC.

Essential Job Functions

• Establish new relationships and expand existing ones in order to sell our delicious beer and grow revenue.
• Represent Suffolk Punch Brewing in a professional manner that always reflects the company’s values.
• Thoughtfully devise and execute territory management plans, including a daily schedule of sales calls in an intentional pattern, focused on achieving monthly and yearly sales goals.
• Collaborate with the Brew Team and ownership to achieve revenue and profitability targets by effectively managing inventory, deliveries, accounts receivable, marketing strategy, and overall brand vision.
• Organize and conduct special events, festivals, beer dinners, tap takeovers & tastings frequently and regularly.
• Perform administrative duties in a timely and thorough manner (expense & mileage reports, work calendar, etc.).
• Perform other business-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in sales with proven record of increasing revenue year over year. Experience in craft beer industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of craft beer and the industry.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook, and have reliable internet access from place of residence. We use Sales Force, must be able to learn this CRM tool.
• Must live in Charlotte or nearby.
• Flexible work hours. Schedules will fluctuate based on needs. You will work some weekends and most special events.
• Good judgment and a history of maintaining same is required.
• Background check required. Must be 21 years of age or older. A valid state driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment. Clean driving record for past 5 years required. Must be able to clear NC ABC background check.
• Representative will always act within the limits of the law and will promote the education of responsible consumption at all times including during working hours, trade shows, festivals, etc.
• Must be willing and able to engage in all of the activities associated with delivering beer – including, the ability to lift cases and kegs weighing up to 165 lbs.
• Cicerone or Certified Beer Server designations are ideal.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary plus commission to be customized based on experience and qualifications. Health insurance, vision, and dental options available.
• This is a full-time exempt position for the purposes of federal wage-law and will not be eligible for overtime pay for hours actually worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek. Workdays and hours will vary between weekdays, weekends, days and nights.
