Position Overview

Chainline Brewing Company is seeking a new Sales Manager with a true passion for craft beer.
The Sales Manager will report directly to the owner and is expected to devise and execute a sales strategy that encompasses our regional self-distribution network along with our distributor partners.

Essential Job Functions

Planning and implementing comprehensive strategic sales initiatives
Self-distribution sale to on and off premise accounts
Aligning distributor sales team objectives with the brewery's brand identity and sales plans
Identifying potential new accounts, establishing contact, and providing support for product and events as per the sales initiative
Building and maintaining relationships with key accounts
Working with production and brewing staff with timely delivery of beer to wholesalers and retailers.
Organizing and managing off-site account visits and events
Establishing and running regular sales meetings with brewery staff
Observing all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale, merchandising and promotion of beer
Management Responsibilities

Collecting and reporting competitive market data to ownership
Participating in production forecasting, acting as a bridge between market needs and production scheduling
Providing detailed weekly sales reports and account status, as well as strategy updates and changes

Beer sales experience preferred but not necessary
Attitude and Personality are key and we'll train the right person
Must be able to lift 30 pounds and maneuver a 160-pound keg
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized
Willingness to travel to meet with Distributors and retailers
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must have reliable vehicle
Must be 21 or older
