    Sales Manager

    Job Description:
    Seven Stills is one of the fastest growing breweries and distilleries in San Francisco. We are currently operating in the “local” tier and are looking for a Sales Manager to help grow into the “regional” tier.

    This position will be focused on Northern California with an emphasis on chain retail stores in the greater Bay Area.

    Our ideal candidate will have previous experience selling into large retail chains, including but not limited to Whole Foods, Safeway, Trader Joe’s, Raley’s, Target, Nugget, and Lucky.

    In addition to assisting with sales, the Sales Manager will be responsible for managing our distribution partners with ordering for new products and handing off sales orders to the production team for fulfillment.
    The Sales Manager will operate as the head of Outside Sales.

    The Main Functions of the Sales Manager are:
    1. Maintain our chain relationships with Whole Foods, Safeway, Trader Joe’s, Raley’s, Target, Nugget, and Lucky
    2. Find new accounts and distributors to hit production targets
    3. Accurately forecast sales to drive production and packaging schedule
    4. Make sure sales orders are received by production staff and fulfilled orders are received by Distributors
    5. Assist in scheduling in-store demos to help build product sell through.
    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Send weekly sales newsletter to all accounts and distributors
    2. Find new accounts and build sales newsletter audience
    3. Send POs from distributors to production staff for fulfillment
    4. Ensure all core products are placed in key accounts and maintained
      1. Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Mollie Stones
    5. Attend weekly meeting with Production and Marketing
    6. Run weekly recap meeting with ownership to review performance and sales targets
    7. Maintain regular communication with distributor sales reps to ensure product is being presented properly
    8. Attend regular ride-withs with Distributor sales reps
    9. Setup and run in-store tastings at key accounts
    10. Attend Annual Sales Business Plan Meetings for Key Distribution Partners
    11. Forecasting Sales objectives to assist in developing production and packaging schedule
    Required Skills:
    Previous experience in Sales Management role for Consumer Goods Company

    Prior experience selling into one three or more of our key accounts

    Strong communication skills

    Highly organized and self-sufficient
    Bonus Skills:
    Knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma
