Brewmation - Brewery & Distillery Specialist (Equipment Sales)

Brewmation is the industry leader in turnkey brewery and distillery systems, brew house tanks, cellar equipment, automation & controls, and craft beverage equipment. We are seeking to add a full-time position to our sales team to better serve our customers, providing our expertise in timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in both brewing and distilling environments, a sound understanding of brewing and distilling processes and equipment, a friendly and outgoing passion for craft brewing and distilling, and excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include:

• As we receive new leads, you will follow up with potential customers (via phone/email/video chat) to identify their needs and to design a brewing or distilling system based on their objectives (size, setup, brewing requirements) and constraints (floor space, timing, budget.)
• After defining the scope of the project, you will use our quoting software to generate detailed quotes. These will be sent to the prospect, followed by a review of the quote to answer questions and, if necessary, make modifications.
• Maintain records in our lead-tracking software and conduct regular follow-ups with leads throughout the course of their brewery/distillery planning, which can often take six months to two years. Our mission is to build a genuine relationship with out contacts, gain an understanding of the project status, and offer ongoing support for their project to earn their business.
• Represent Brewmation at 4-5 industry trade shows per year. In addition to booth setup and break down, you will meet with tradeshow attendees to quickly understand their needs and whether Brewmation can support their project. Document each interaction for follow up. You’ll also be able to attend trade show events to network with both customers and suppliers…and have a little fun!

Ideal Candidate:

• The Brewery & Distillery Specialist must have a sound understanding of both brewing and distilling processes and equipment, and a passion for the craft beer and spirits industry
• Experience working in a brewery and/or distillery is strongly desired. All levels of relevant experience (homebrew, related industry experience, equipment sales, etc.) will be considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Building relationships is essential to this position, so you must be comfortable and confident on the phone with the ability to foster conversation and engage with potential customers. Most of the sales process is done via phone with documentation sent via email. We are seeking someone who loves to talk about brewing and brewing equipment!
• This position requires a technical and detail-oriented mindset to be able to connect our equipment (and equipment from our suppliers) to our customers’ needs
• Must be able to work independently on a large number of projects and have strong time-management skills

Compensation:

• Compensation is a base-salary plus commissions structure. Base pay is dependent on experience ($40-$50k/yr.) Commissions are uncapped and represent a significant earning potential for the highly-motivated sales person.
