A fun, ocean and beach conscious brewery and taproom is looking for our next marketing and events coordinator to help bring out taproom to the next level in El Segundo.
Our Marketing and Events Coordinator will assist in the planning and supervision of all marketing projects and events (public and private), creatively and logistically. Experience with design, photography, content creation, social media engagement and on/off-site event coordination is required. Seeking a candidate with a high attention to detail, organized, independent thinker, and an outgoing personality to ultimately help grow our brand and visitors to our taproom in El Segundo, California.
Marketing
- Ability to design and execute engaging on-brand graphics for a variety of channels in print and digital.
- Photography: Capture original photo and video content at events and in the taproom to spark engagement and brand loyalty.
- Manage social media channels. This includes community management, copywriting, proofreading, and content creation.
- Assist in email marketing campaigns and data analysis.
- Maintain company presence on various channels and member-driven groups.
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs.
- Gather data on competitors and report findings and trends.
- Coordinate private events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, giving client walk-throughs, and ordering marketing collateral.
- Undertake and support daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of marketing and event initiatives.
- Assist in organizing and managing promotional events on and off-site.
- Attend on and off-site events and samplings to ensure their success (includes evenings and weekends).
- Book bands, vendors, performers, etc. for internal programming at the taproom
- Willingness to learn about beer, the brewing process, and be able to assist in educating taproom staff and other visitors on Surfridge
- Develop relationships with beer writing communities (beer influencers, bloggers, etc.).
- May be required to attend on-site and/or off-site company-sponsored events after business hours and on weekends.
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Full time position available for the right candidate, 40hrs per week
- Bachelor’s Degree, Marketing or Business Preferred.
- Craft beer knowledge and passion not required but preferred.
- Strong computer skills.
- Results driven, energetic, confident personality
- Excellent organization and communication skills, written and verbally.
