Hatchet Brewing Company is a growing local brewery and taproom located in downtown Southern Pines, NC. We are looking for an energetic, creative individual to join our team as a Sales Manager.
Position Description: The Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day sales operations and B2B sales revenue generation. This will include market development, forecasting of sales, managing employees, establishing/refining processes and procedures, B2B marketing, and managing resources.

Position Description: The Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day sales operations and B2B sales revenue generation. This will include market development, forecasting of sales, managing employees, establishing/refining processes and procedures, B2B marketing, and managing resources.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assists distributor partner in promoting sales of the products and building consumer acceptance.
- Plan and execute regular account/market visits and ride along with distributor partner sales reps.
- Maximize the sell thru of our unique portfolio of beer with enhanced product placements and marketing.
- Identify and execute upon opportunities to support account sales, tasting events, tap takeover and education of consumers
- Demonstrated ability to coach, train and motivate others
- Create, present and track sales incentive programs.
- Utilize VIP data to develop sales goals and monitor distribution inventory.
- All aspects of B2B sales operations, revenue generation, and market development to provide an exceptional experience to customers.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of professional craft beer industry sales experience in the Raleigh / Triangle area.
- Result driven, energetic, and confident personality
- Work ethic aligned with and supportive of a high growth organization
- Strong self-starter with track record of success in a highly self-directed environment
- Excellent oral and written skills, including public speaking and presentations
- Perform administrative duties in a timely manner using Ekos to plan, coordinate, and report weekly sales activities and monitor progress in all identified accounts
- Bachelor's degree desirable, but not required.
Physical requirements:
- Lift 55 pounds from ground to shoulder height and maneuver 170 pounds at ground height.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000, including a clearly attainable bonus program
