    Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling is looking for an Account Sales Executive to join our team in direct support of our rapidly growing brand collective including Radiant Pig Craft Beers, Braven Brewing, and Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling.

    The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, team-oriented, responsible, and outgoing individual with enthusiasm and experience selling in the craft beer industry. This role will be responsible for covering Brooklyn & Queens and will report to the NYC Sales Manager.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Increase distribution, customer interaction and overall brand awareness
    • Drive sales in both on and off premise accounts
    • Identify opportunities for growth. Formulate plans to capitalize on them and execute
    • Build and manage relationships with key accounts and partners
    • Work with distributors and sales team to gain points of distribution in assigned territories
    • Plan appropriately, manage time efficiently and properly prioritize tasks
    • Develop and implement merchandising strategies with assigned accounts
    • Utilize sales tools to document wins/losses/opportunities

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    • Self-motivation, highly organized, excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong time-management: able to hold oneself accountable to use time efficiently, set priorities and pre- plan work activities/schedules to hit daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals and objectives
    • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate clearly and identify needs of others
    • Customer Service: ability to build relationships, gather feedback and problem solve
    • Values timely follow-through on commitments and comfortable making decisions
    • Team player: values teamwork and can see the big picture of company goals
    • Strong knowledge of craft beer, the industry and awareness of current craft beer trends
    • Familiarity with both on and off premise sales channels
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook and Google Drive applications

    • 3-5 years of sales experience within the beverage industry (beer, wine, spirits)
    • Must reside within reasonable distance of assigned territories with ability to travel on occasion to Newport, RI
    • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
    • Valid Drivers License, clean driving record and reliable transportation
    • Will be required to be TIPS Certified upon employment
    • Cicerone Certification Level 1 preferred but not initially required

    Pay: From $55,000.00 per year starting range

    Work Location: On the road in Brooklyn, Queens and possibility for other NYC territories
