    Job Title: California Regional Sales Manager

    Classification: Salary

    Reports To: VP of Sales and Marketing

    Summary: The California Regional Sales Manager is an outside sales position within the sales and marketing team. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of Area Sales Managers, building and executing sales and expense budgets with the VP of Sales and Business Development Manager, managing CRM processes, developing and managing 3PL warehouses in the region, developing/maintaining customer relationships, implementing SVM marketing plans, protecting SVM profitability and managing events in the region.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Accomplishes regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned areas.
    • Communicates job expectations by planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions, and employee enforcing policies and procedures.
    • Plans and reviews compensation strategies for the assigned team.
    • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
    • Prepares and completes action plans and implements productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
    • Resolves problems, completes warehouse and customer audits, identifies trends, determines regional sales system improvements, and implements change when necessary.
    • Meets regional sales objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
    • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan for areas in support of region and company objectives working with the VP of Sales and Business Development Manager.
    • Maintains and expands customer base by counseling area sales managers, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities.
    • Helps identify new product opportunities, packaging, and service changes, surveying consumer needs and trends, and tracking competitors.

    Compensation

    Salary: Varies D.O.E, Range from $75k-$90k
