    Brewery and Distilling Account Sales Representative

    This job is specific to the Craft Brewing and Distilling industry. It entails selling primarily ingredients and supplies used in the Brewing and Distilling process. It requires prior experience and extensive knowledge in this field.

    As a sales representative, you will be responsible for maintaining and building an account list, specifically in Breweries, Distilleries, and Cideries. You will be responsible for sales growth of our products, which include malt, sugars, and brewing ingredients. This position will service the INW, which includes Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho and Western Montana. You will work as part of a team in the PNW for the brewery department of BakeMark.

    Position Responsibilities
    • Set, achieve and exceed sales quotas.
    • Create and implement a sales strategy to meet personal and BakeMark sales goals
    • Communicate with current and potential customers on regular basis promoting products and services, providing solutions as needed and oversee all sales activity related to brewery and distilling.
    • Assess and manage sales
    • Identify and forecast opportunities
    • Present quotes to customers
    • Understand and Promote BakeMark programs
    • Develop and present product deals and promotions
    • Develop and execute performance objectives
    • Document customer contacts and needs
    • Develop and maintain a proactive calendar that meets customer and company needs
    • Submit accurate sales and activity reports weekly
    • Effectively communicate the value and benefits of work with BakeMark
    • Present a professional image that aligns with company and customer expectations
    • Identify prospects while continuing to refine and build existing target customers
    • Coordinate sales efforts with sales team, purchasing, accounting, warehouse and transportation
    • Perform sales duties as efficiently and cost effective as possible, submitting all job-related expenses weekly

    Position Requirements
    • Knowledge, Experience and/or Training in Craft Brewing and Distilling industry
    • Consultive account management experience
    • Understanding of sales process
    • A commitment to excellent customer experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Experience using a computers for a variety of tasks
    • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Able to work comfortably in a dynamic environment

    Physical Requirements
    • Approximately 20% overnight travel monthly
    • Valid drivers' license and able to drive
    • Sedentary work: office environment
    • Ability to attend customer visits/meeting in which sitting, standing or walking for long periods may be required

    Mental Requirements
    • Must be able to readily solve customer complaints and questions
    • Must be able to analyze territory market potential and prioritize call patterns accordingly

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year DOE
