Position Summary
The Sales Representative will build long-term client relationships to reinforce sales and effectively manage distribution. This role will be charged with promoting and growing the Dual Citizen brand among accounts throughout the metro area while maintaining outstanding customer service to our existing accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Focus on making sales calls at potential and existing accounts and building mutually beneficial relationships with customers
  • Oversee special events in their market area including commitment to participation in beer related special events, logistical coordination between the brewery and event staff
  • Oversee secondary staff of Beer Ambassadors to help execute tasting events in sales territory
  • A high emphasis is placed on increasing the availability and visibility of products in new and existing accounts by using consultative sales tactics
  • 100% focus on selling products and / or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts (bars / restaurants, liquor / grocery stores)
  • Identifying major accounts that are not currently selling DCBC products, and developing a plan to establish business with such accounts
  • Improving conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point-of-sale items to increase visibility of the brand
  • Conduct waitstaff / bartender educations, beer tastings and evening promotions, Set up Events and In Store Samplings
  • Maintain, accurate and up to date CRM data for all customers.
  • Communicating back to Sales Director the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group (e.g., clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations)
  • Establishing and maintaining new and on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems; participating in site visits
  • Participating in activities as needed to support Dual Citizen Brewing Company, such as beer festivals, tastings, and demonstrations
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • At least two years of Sales experience in the craft brewery industry. Or the equivalent years of successful sales in a similar market.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move 160 pounds
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation to visit accounts
