    San Diego Territory Sales Manager

    Overview

    The San Diego Territory Sales Manager oversees the assigned territory for all sales activities. This position is responsible for leading the San Diego Field Sales Representative Team to reach target sales volume, brand activity, distributions, and managing accounts while growing the volume and visibility of Pure Projects products.
    • Manage the San Diego Field Sales Representative Team.
    • Provide training and leadership support.
    • Hold sales meetings where objectives and goals are shared.
    • Complete annual performance reviews for team members.
    • Look for opportunities to grow the territory.
    • Open new accounts through networking and other measures.
    • Identify new markets that are not being penetrated and develop plans to establish business relationships with these accounts.
    • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from clients and/or beer festivals.
    • Maintain relationships with key accounts.
    • Provide new and existing accounts with information about product sell-in, brand, quality, package, placement, presentation, new account openings, and key contacts.
    • Make frequent sales calls and site visits to potential on and off-premise accounts within assigned territory.
    • Assist accounts with proper inventory management and quality standards.
    • Work with existing accounts on a designated schedule (i.e., weekly, biweekly, monthly) basis, with the goal of increasing distribution on- and off-premise and increasing draft presence in each market.
    • Wholesale and Production Forecasting demand, materials, and cost.
    • Assist wholesale accounts with proper inventory management and quality standards.
    • Improve conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point of sale items to increase the visibility of the brand.
    • Completely understand and embrace brewery brands and culture, and deliver on our mission to the wholesale and retail customer.
    • As needed, deliver products to customers.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Expectations/Deliverables
    • Make a minimum of 60 account visits and/or connections per week to existing on and off-premise accounts to build a closer relationship between the account and Pure Project.
    • Maintain all sales goals and budgets.
    • Managing the invoicing/sales deliveries.
    • Preparing sales and progress reports, keeping sales records, and filling out expense reports.
    • Plan and execute a weekly/bi-weekly plan of goals and account calls within each wholesale territory and complete calls to local buyers, decision-makers, and key account managers.
    • Create new procedures and SOP’s related to new market/product launches and promotional events.
    • Plan and execute a promotional calendar and promotional events with key retailers geared towards building sales and distribution.
    • Attend and pour at off-site beer festivals.
    • Complete all required logs, paperwork, and forms to document sales and/or expenses.
    • Forecast seasonal brand execution and track results.

    COMPENSATION: Starting at $60k+Commission
