    Humboldt Cider Company is a family owned and operated business founded in 2014. We have been growing steadily each year since our humble beginnings in a Eureka garage. Since then, we have expanded to include two Humboldt County taprooms and a new warehouse that will enable us to expand throughout the state of California. We pride ourselves on using high quality ingredients and supporting local nonprofit organizations.
    Humboldt ciders are made using real fruit from Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. We ferment our ciders using wine yeasts and blend them to appeal to a wide range of palettes. Humboldt ciders are well-balanced and refreshingly crisp. Our commitment to quality has built a strong brand presence in Northern California and we are seeking to hire someone who will continue to help grow our brand.

    Job Purpose

    As a sales and brand representative for Humboldt Cider Company, you will be responsible with promoting and growing our brand throughout the Bay Area while maintaining strong customer service to our existing accounts.

    Job Responsibilities
    • Promoting the Humboldt Cider Company Brand
    • Grow our placements at off-premise and on-premise accounts
    • Provide service to existing accounts in Sonoma, Marin, Contra Costa, Alameda and San Francisco counties
    • Maintain regular communication with Sales Director
    • Build and grow relationships with our distribution partners and their sales representatives
    • Coordinate pre-sales for limited and seasonal releases in your territory.
    • Communicate the story of our brand and our commitment to quality ingredients and sustainability
    • Represent Humboldt Cider Company at festivals, events and tastings (including occasional weekends)
    • Keep a finger on the pulse in your territory to identify new opportunities, issues and market intelligence
    • Analyze sales data to identify sales opportunities and trends
    • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
    • Fulfill needs of existing and future accounts
    • Keep an up-to-date log of daily sales visits and prospects via VIP – Karma data systems
    • Ability to conduct cold calls at new account prospects

    • Must be 21 years of age
    • Food and beverage industry experience preferred
    • 2 years salesperson experience preferred
    • Outgoing personality and good communication skills
    • Highly organized and self motivated
    • Reliable vehicle, valid insurance and clean driving record
    • Occasional night and weekend availability
    • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver 165lb kegs occasionally at various accounts
    • Knowledge of craft cider industry
    • Knowledge of Humboldt Cider Company’s product portfolio
    • Familiarity with California ABC laws
    • Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Able to use spreadsheets to maintain/review sales data
