OVERVIEW - The Sales Representative reports to the Operations Manager and Ownership. The role has many responsibilities and expectations. In general, some of those are:
TYPICAL WEEK - A typical week for a Sales Representative includes a weekly call/report to the Management Team and Ownership, creating an email blast for product updates, visiting accounts (collect orders, build relationships, and increase sales), prospecting new accounts (meetings, tastings/sampling, etc.), fielding emails/phone calls/text messages, collaborating and coordinating with the Brewing/Packaging Team, inputting invoices, coordination and constant-communication with Delivery Driver, spending time analyzing data/trends to support a sales strategy, special deliveries for accounts when needed, achieving weekly sales goals, and other tasks.

- Develop and document a clear, specific, growth-oriented sales strategy using:
- market analysis
- data compilation and data analytics
- adaptive, pragmatic, open-minded assessments of market trends
- progressive, forward-thinking vision building
- SWOT analysis of SPB and the SPB Team
- Have a confident, focused, determined execution ability.
- Have and maintain a healthy relationship with alcohol and the ability to be exposed to same on a consistent basis.
- Build relationships.
- Visit accounts on a regular basis to create and increase B2B sales.
- Acquire new accounts, especially and specifically high volume, VIP accounts.
- Participate in industry functions, clubs, alliances, events, etc.
- Be a positive part of the community in and out of the industry.
- Become an expert on the Charlotte craft beer market by utilizing your existing experience and actively building your knowledge each day.
- Collaborate in a healthy, positive, supportive way with all departments including Marketing, Brewing/packaging, Sales/Distro, Management/Ownership, Accounting
