The New Ontario Brewing Company (est. 2015) is looking for experienced part-time retail associates to join our Brew Crew. If you are knowledgeable and passionate about craft beer, have outstanding customer service skills and are excited to join a small but growing team we want to hear from you!
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
• Serving or retail experience
• Enthusiastic about beer and the craft beer industry & willing to learn more
• Customer focused and driven to exceed expectations
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask accordingly
• Attention to detail (especially regarding cleanliness and sanitation)
• Available days, evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
Responsibilities:
• Providing beer samples to customers and informing them about our beer
• Restocking beer fridge and merchandise shelves
• Running the point of sale system
• Cleaning and refilling bottles
• Performing opening and closing duties
• Occasional work at events and festivals
Education/Training
• SmartServe certified (or willing to obtain prior to commencing employment)
• WHMIS certified
• Cicerone Certified Beer Server qualification to be completed within one month of employment
