  • Sales Representative in New Orleans

    Ground floor opportunity at rapidly growing startup brewery located in the heart of New Orleans. Second Line Brewing is seeking a Sales Representative who is responsible for improving and promoting the sales of our beer products in the Greater New Orleans Area including communities to the north, south, west and east (i.e., Slidell, Laplace, Covington, etc.). The incumbent will be responsible for working closely with our Distributor Partners and for keeping detailed records on account visits, orders and drops.

    REQUIRED

    • Conduct sales calls on all assigned accounts on the proper day and in the established sequence.
    • Make calls on new accounts within your area and establish a working relationship with them.
    • Consistently promote the sale of company products through personal selling efforts and regular contact with your accounts.
    • Ensure all displays within your accounts include the applicable POS.
    • Consistently work to improve customer satisfaction by resolving issues with Distributor Partners.
    • Consistently pursue new product placements within your account base – grow the existing SKUs.
    • Secure primary locations within accounts for product placement and POS materials.
    • Plan and coordinate on-premise promotions and pourings with accounts.
    • Efficiently and correctly complete all necessary paperwork by established timelines.
    • Build and maintain a working relationship and open communications with the owners, managers and employees of your accounts.
    • Demonstrate a sincere interest in the business success of each of your accounts.
    • Have a positive attitude about Second Line Brewing and all fellow employees when in discussion with retailers and distributor partners.
    • Maintain open communications with managers and all fellow employees of Second Line Brewing.
    • Dress and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner and wear Second Line Brewing shirt while marketing brand.
    • Conduct your activities according to the requirements of company policies and procedures.
    • Report all accidents and/or injuries immediately to the Chief Operating Officer.

    Experience :1-3 years sales experience preferred, preferably with a distribution company.

    COMPENSATION

    Salary plus commission, paid vacation, mileage and cell phone allowance.
