The San Francisco Bay Area Sales Representative will focus on taking over the existing accounts within the assigned territory and expanding our reach in on-premise and off-premise accounts. This position is responsible for managing accounts, developing customer relationships, seeking new business, going after debt collection, you name it. This position reports to the sales director, but there is little micromanagement and lots of room to grow vertically within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Expand the sales territory of restaurants, bars and bottle shops in the SF Bay Area territory which also includes Marin County.
*Engage with accounts, build lasting relationships and provide the best customer service.
*Achieve set sales goals.
*Invoice and Route Delivery.
*Service accounts and rotate inventory accordingly.
*Clean draft lines.
*Occasionally help drivers with running kegs for accounts.
*Be a team player!
*Promotional Events; weekend beer festivals, tap takeovers, product demos.
*Keep account balances current.
EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of the Bay Area bar and restaurant scene is highly preferred.
A network within the area is huge.
1-2 years Sales preferred.
Passion for beer.
Microsoft Excel, SAP programs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift, push and/or pull 35lbs. on a regular basis.
Ability to push, pull and manipulate 165lbs.
COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary plus commission.
