21A is now taking applications for our new position as a Graphic Design & Social Media Coordinator. We’re seeking motivated, multi-talented, and experienced candidates that are looking to work in a fast-paced environment and are ready to be of part a growing Marketing Team.
A Day in the Life of a Graphic Design/Social Media Coordinator:
Build and execute social media strategy for all brewery social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Untappd)
Create original content to support social media campaigns, website, and blog content
Monitor and optimize company brand pages, communities, and website
Moderate all social media fan conversations, with a focus on driving community engagement and brand loyalty
Create editorial calendars to support brand objectives and marketing goals
Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Brewing) to understand key priorities for consumer engagement, as well as to build engaging projects to express the 21A brand story
Assist our Senior Graphic Designer with design projects to support 21A Marketing & Sales programs, events & initiatives
Create social media and printed graphics designs for San Francisco Pub and San Leandro Tap Room events
As a member of the Marketing team, contribute to executing brewery-hosted events throughout the year
What You Need To Be Successful Here:
A four-year degree in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred with a minimum of 2 years of work experience OR a 2-year degree in Marketing or Business with 2-3 years of work experience.
In lieu of a college degree, 5-7 years of direct work experience in graphic design and work in social media.
Project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience in social media marketing
Experience editing photos, videos, and graphical content (experience with Adobe Illustrator, Pixelmator, or similar programs a plus)
Experience with HTML, CSS a plus
Passion for craft beer and the craft beer industry
A positive attitude and enjoys working within a team environment
