    Sales Representative- Western New York

    42 North is seeking a Sales Representative for the Western NY market (Erie and Niagara Counties) with a focus on on-premise sales and distribution. The sales representative works along side our distribution partner, brand management, and brewing operations teams to maintain and grow the brand’s presence and sales volume in Erie and Niagara counties.
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support and communicate the company’s mission statement and values of Quality, Collaboration, and Authenticity to accounts and business partners.
    • Work directly with 42 North distributors and their sales staff in his/her territory to maintain and promote sales.
    • Solicit, maintain, and grow on-premise accounts in designated region.
    • Track sales weekly and identify trends and market opportunities.
    • Identify regional and national market trends and work alongside brewing operations to maximize opportunities.
    • Identify key accounts that complement the 42 North brand and reach our key target market.
    • Plan and coordinate on-premise events to support key accounts and grow the brand presence.
    • Support and provide input into management team’s annual sales plans and projections.
    • Support special events including, but not limited to, beer festivals. As needed, coordinate logistics between the distributor and the event staff representation on behalf of the brewery.

    Position Requirements:

    • 3-4 Years of Sales experience preferably in the beer industry
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
    • Knowledge of the Western New York market
    • Passion and understanding for craft beer
    • Must be able to travel, clean driving record and have reliable transportation. Some overnight travel.
    • Must be able to work flexible hours/days and lift 55lbs and handle 165lb kegs.
    • Must have good record keeping and business communication skills.
    • Understanding of the brewing industry and the beer distribution network.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

    • This is a full time, salary position. Compensation will be based on experience.
    • 2 weeks paid vacation per year.
    • Pay is bi-weekly.
    • Ability to grow with the industry and the 42 North Brewing team.
