    Job Description:

    Summary (**Please pay close to attention to experience, responsibilities, & requirements before applying**)

    We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to be the face and voice of our brand. As a successful candidate, you will be involved in increasing brand awareness internally (staff) and externally through various meetings, media channels, networking, and events. You will work closely with sales and marketing to achieve its marketing goals and objectives, such as communicating the value of our products to customers, owning social media and all digital platforms, tracking customer feedback, and representing the brand at launches and events.

    To excel in this role, you will need excellent communication and networking skills, and a strong presence at all events and conversations involving Southern Grist. Previous experience as a brand ambassador, marketing, or similar role is strongly desired, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles.

    Brand Ambassador Responsibilities:
    • Be an expert on the company’s mission, vision, and goals while evolving these pillars as the company grows
    • Working closely with sales and marketing to conceptualize marketing campaigns and strategies
    • Strategize on our voice being heard in our backyard (Nashville and surrounding areas)
    • Educating our staff, customers, retailers, and distributors about our products and story
    • Building rapport with customers, our staff, and vendors
    • Experience in Google ad word/ key word searches strongly desired
    • Monitoring customer feedback on social/digital platforms and escalating complaints to marketing leaders
    • Strong verbal and written skills required for customer facing platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Square, email campaigns)
    • Representing the company at product launches, events, and tastings
    • Brainstorming ideas and lead/participate in training and workshops
    • Ownership of website, content, ecomm, and keeping all site related items up to date
    • Meet with local councils, groups, and neighborhoods to gain traction in specific areas
    • Maintaining a positive image of the Southern Grist brand at all times, on and off the clock
