Logistics Manager at Yazoo Brewing

Yazoo Brewing Company, in thriving Nashville, TN, is looking for our next Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
  • Manage our in-house finished goods inventory using first-in, first-out rotation of inventory
  • Be the point-of-contact between the sales team, the brewery, and our distributors
  • Monitor inventory at our out-of-market distributors using VIP; solicit orders from distributors as needed; build orders from our out-of-market distributors and arrange shipments
  • Manage inventory at our in-market distributor using VIP and physical inventories; build weekly truckload shipments; drive our delivery truck to the distributor
  • Manage our empty keg inventories; arrange pickups of empty kegs; manage keg requests and reporting to Microstar Keg Logistics
  • Manage raw material and in-process beer shipments between our main production brewery and our barrel warehouse

Candidate requirements:
  • A clean driving record. A current CDL is a plus but not required. Getting and maintaining a Tennessee CDL will be required as part of the on-boarding responsibilities
  • Experience with VIP sales and inventory platform is a plus
  • Effective communication skills including in-person, over the phone, and email
  • The ability to be on your feet for up to eight hours a day; ability to repeatedly lift and place 30 lb cases on pallets
  • Experience driving a forklift
  • Enthusiastic team player
