    Position: COO
    Location: Brewery, Kihei, HI
    Manager: CEO
    Pay rate: $125,000 - 200,000/year

    Job Description:
    This position provides leadership, management, and vision from the senior management team to ensure proper staff, operational controls, and reporting procedures are in place to effectively meet operational and financial goals. The COO will work closely with all other senior managers to develop, monitor, and evaluate corporate strategy.

    Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
    • Manage all operational aspects of the company.
    • Responsible to achieve and grow sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals.
    • Assist to develop, implement, analyze, and manage sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
    • Collaborate with other senior management team members on Key Performance Indicators for all business unit leaders with responsibility of effectiveness.
    • Create timely and complete reports on the operation condition of the company.
    • Spearhead, but collaborate with the management teams, the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
    • Direct short and long-term planning and budget development to support strategic business goals.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor all HR company policies and documents, such as Employee Handbook, HR Management Standards, Job Descriptions, etc.
    • Responsible to ensure all HR and related personnel functions are properly performed/handled.
    • Motivate and lead the mid-level management team. Provide mentoring for management career development, including hire/fire recommendations.
    • Foster a success-orientated, accountable environment within the company.
    • Assist in compliance with all applicable laws and policies.
    • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date corporate record books.
    • Key role in facilitating manager meetings and all staff meetings.
    • Represent the company with business partners, board, etc.
    • Maintain continuous communication with CEO.

    Job Requirements:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a COO, or executive operations manager.
    • Bachelors in Business related degree.
    • Strong project and time management, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
    • Highly competent with computer functions, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
    • Ability to manage others.
    • Strong Internal Control background.
    • Great verbal and written communication.

    Hours & Wages:
    This position is an exempt position as described by the Fair Labor Standards Act and does not earn overtime pay. The total wages paid is defined in the salary section of a Job Offer. The weekly hours of work can vary as an exempt employee, and can be up to 50 hours a week. It is the employee’s responsibility to clock in and out so that hours worked can be accurately tracked, and important to bring to a manager’s attention if they feel they are going to exceed 50 hours in a current work week. If employee takes unpaid time off, or is terminated with a partial work week, then the following formula will be used to calculate pay: bi-weekly salary divided by 10 multiplied by the number of days worked.
