  • Canning Line Operator / Brewing Assistant

    We are looking for a keen individual with a knack for packaging to join our growing team. We are looking for someone to operate our Cask ACS V4.2 canning line, as well as assist in the production side of the brewery as needed. This is a part-time position providing 20-30 scheduled hours per week with the opportunity to evolve into a full-time position as we grow. We are one of the fastest growing breweries in Calgary and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

    As a Canning Line Operator, you will oversee all aspects of canning beer at Cabin.

    Your duties will include:
    • Operating the depalletizer and canning line.
    • CIP and sanitizing of all canning equipment.
    • Frequent quality assurance checks on dissolved oxygen, can seams and fill levels.
    • Ordering and maintaining inventory of canning supplies.
    • Keeping the packaging area clean and sanitary at all times.
    • Other brewery help as needed, such as keg washing, keg filling, brewery cellaring duties, etc.
    Skills and experience required:
    • Minimum 1 year experience operating a canning line (preferably Cask).
    • Ability to troubleshoot and fix mechanical issues on the fly.
    • Physically fit. Able to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods of time.
    • Other brewery experience is an asset.
    • Current forklift operator’s license.
