Canning Line Operator

Spacestation is in Woodland, Ca and is a cannabis beverage manufacturer looking for a Machine Operator to join our team to meet the increased production demand. Growth opportunities include the potential to be a Shift Lead, managing teams and help in growing the business & skill set. You will be a part of a very close-knit brewing and production team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan
Manage time wisely to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Participate in training procedures for the brewing staff, and laborers
Keep accurate inventory and quality management of raw materials, chemicals, and finished goods.
Role & Responsibilities:
Knowledge of Wild Goose - Meheen Canning Line
Knowledge of Micro Bottler
Operation of canning line, and all line equipment
Responsible for safety of all canning line activities
Responsible for conducting/overseeing all can line and repack QA checks
Directing of packaging personnel
Build quality into all elements of canning
Sanitation on all canning line equipment
Perform maintenance and repair tasks on all canning line equipment
Assist in identifying, investigating, and recommending cost saving opportunities, especially in work area
Physical Inventory of packaging materials
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
2 years Brewery / Manufacturing Experience required
Beverage canning line experience valued
Mechanically inclined
Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays and events as needed
Passion for cannabis and beverage
Proper organization, planning, and execution
Autonomy, situational awareness, safety awareness, and problem-solving
Physical ability (stand, lift, work in harsh conditions, including the movement of an object weighing up to 175 pounds)
Education/experience:
High school diploma.
Compensation
Competitive hourly wage based on experience starting at $20 per hour and up.
