Black Hog Brewing Co. in Oxford CT is seeking a full-time Packaging Specialist to join the team.
If you have a passion for packaging the highest quality beer possible while working with a great team, this is your position. Everyone at Black Hog Brewing Co. works together to keep all aspects of our 6000bbl/year brewery running smoothly.
We are packing 3-4 days a week at the moment and looking for a second canning line operator to join our team to make the packaging schedule run smoothly as we grow.
Expertise on the following equipment is a huge plus, but not required:
-Wild Goose WG4 canning line
-Ska half pint can depalletizer
-Pack Leader label applicator
-American Canning PacTech applicator
-Anton Parr DO meter
-Zahm CO2 tester
-Premier Stainless keg washer
Essential Duties
-Following Cleaning and Sanitizing SOPs for the canning line
-Following Cleaning and Sanitizing SOPs on the Keg washer
-Maintaining accurate production documentation
-Filling Cans and Kegs
-Cleaning Kegs
-Preventive Maintenance on all packaging equipment
-Organizing and cleaning packaging areas
-Monthly inventories of all packaging material
-Input on what we're brewing and QC.
Compensation
-Hourly rate $14-$17 / hr (based on experience and flexible with growth possible going into the future). Compensation will be reviewed after 4 months of employment.
- Health insurance (after 4 months of full time employment)
- PTO of 1 week Vacation time after 4 months. Will Grow to 2 weeks after 2 years.
