We believe in the power of story and are seeking an inspired and energetic packaging line operator. With a strong commitment to growth and currently selling at 10,000 bbls annually, we are looking for team player who join our dedicated team in an environment of accelerated growth, including the continued expansion of our present location alongside our smaller, experimental brewery location (The Imaginarium). This position will report directly to our Packaging Supervisor.
Where are we? Three Taverns’ main facility is situated in the burgeoning beer hub of Decatur, Georgia USA, just six miles from downtown Atlanta. Walkable, neighborly, urbane Decatur is the hub of beer culture for the surrounding area and is home to a wonderful collection of shops, amazing restaurants and beer bars, including the world-famous Brick Store Pub. Our new Imaginarium brewery and taproom is located closer to downtown just off the Atlanta Beltline in the repurposed Atlanta Dairies next to a new 3,000 seat music venue.

Packaging Operator
Job Responsibilities:
• Must be able to work well within a small team focused on a safety-first environment
• Safely and efficiently operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all packaging equipment (kegging, bottling, canning)
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain daily schedule
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the day
• Perform quality checks on bright tanks and packaged product, and accurately record results
• Understand the fundamentals of brewing and packaging processes
• Basic preventative maintenance
• Remain flexible and willing to help with any task around the brewery
Required Skills / Experience:
• Previous brewery/packaging experience a plus
• Understanding of common packaging concerns
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve independently
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Ability to routinely adhere to SOP
• Ability to multi-task
• Positive attitude, desire to learn
• Willingness to work early mornings/nights/weekends as necessary
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for craft beer
Physical Requirements:
• Standing and moving for an entire shift (up to 8-10 hours per day)
• Ability to repeatedly move up to 165lbs during a shift
• Climbing/crouching/working in tight spaces
• Ability to work in hot/cold, loud and wet environments
