Packaging Operator
Second Self Beer Company is looking for a new member of its team. The packing operator is one of the most important jobs ensuring that the beverage is packaged perfectly so it gets to the customers its best form. We are looking to expand production operations and increase packaged volume of both kegged and canned products. A successful candidate will meet the qualifications below and be able to integrate into Second Self’s culture of innovation. Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be 21 or over.
Must be able to bend over, twist, kneel and stand for the duration of a shift, lift 55 pounds and maneuver 165 pounds repeatedly.
Brewery employees are exposed to consistently loud production environments.
Capable of safe and competent work around potentially hazardous machinery, chemicals, and systems
May need to come in on weekends and/or weeknights
This is not an entry-level position; the right candidate will be able to work with the current staff in some capacity day 1.
The right candidate will be familiar with, or willing to learn about, FDA GMPs and maintain an environment consistent with those standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with operations manager to meet production goals
- Work independently as operator within a team environment
- Demonstrate best practices on operation of equipment
- Assist with inventory of all packaging items
- Daily operation of packaging line
- Daily maintenance and repair of packaging equipment
- Quality control checks
- CIP of equipment
- Delivery of finished product to warehousing area
- Management, organization, and completion of all relevant documentation
- Ensure a clean, sanitary, and “showcase brewery” work environment all of the time
- Other duties as assigned
- Recognized ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining a safety conscious and calm attitude
- Experience working within a beverage/food production facility
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Ability to multi-task
- A “no job is too small” attitude
