DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate all aspects of Comac 14-2 rotary isobaric canning & seaming line: filling, CIP, troubleshooting, & maintenance
• Oversee the operation of all peripheral equipment including depalletization, rinsing, conveyors, labelling and palletizing
• Conduct maintenance on all canning line machinery
• Monitor and control carbonation levels on all beers
• Operate & maintain DO/carbonation meter & TPO meter to ensure consistent beer quality
• Rack beer into kegs if needed
• Ensure that all beer is packaged to standards and specification by following recipes and procedures
• Dutifully follow best practices and safety requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Min. 2 years of relevant canning line operator experience
• Ability to work and communicate well with all staff
• Detail-oriented, organized, ability to keep accurate records
• Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing/manufacturing setting
- Comfortable communicating in French and//or English
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Able to lift 15 kgs from ground to shoulder high
• Able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders
• Able to occasionally work in small and confined spaces
• Able to execute reasonable safety procedures, including working with chemicals
The candidate must be self-motivated, and able to work without supervision - most importantly they should have a passion for producing the best beer possible. Any gaps in experience will be filled with on the job training.
