Stoller Wine Group is seeking a qualified Bottling Operator-Maintainer to join a growing bottling team at the winery. This position is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, overtime and weekends as needed. This position reports directly to the Bottling Line Manager.
The Bottling Operator-Maintainer must be able to perform the following under minimal supervision;
• Operate and troubleshoot bottling line and related equipment.
• Perform the bottling line startups and shutdowns.
• Conduct changeovers on the bottling line.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on the bottling line.
• Perform routine production quality checks.
• Perform line and equipment sanitation in compliance with quality requirements.
• Perform cellars tasks to prepare wines and equipment for bottling.
• Ability to rotate to any position on the bottling line.
• Communicate effectively with team members, leadership and other departments.
• Follow all procedures and guidelines. Identify safety hazards and communicates to team members and leadership.
• General housekeeping duties maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.
• Perform other duties in any department as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, ability to work with team members to achieve production goals safely and has a desire to continuously learn and improve self and others.
• Must be overtime and shift flexible.
• Maintain Lift Truck Certification.
• 2 years production line experience as an operator or mechanic.
• 2 years wine bottling experience preferred.
• 2 years bottling line maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with Bertolaso equipment preferred.
• Counter-pressure experience preferred.
• Disgorging experience preferred.
